TBILISI, DFWatch–Four flights were delayed at Tbilisi airport on Wednesday due to fog.

A flight to Istanbul was delayed several hours. A plane arriving from Warsaw was unable to land at Tbilisi airport and instead landed in Kutaisi, Georgia’s second largest city.

A Pegasus Airlines flight from Istanbul to Tbilisi was cancelled, while a Turkish Airlines plane turned around and went back to Istanbul. Several other flights from Tbilisi were delayed for a few hours.

“Due to the heavy fog four flights were accomplished instead of eight,” the airport’s press office writes.

“Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa and Lot Polish cancelled flights due to bad visibility and Pegasus flights were delayed.”

Tbilisi airport is now working normally without delays.
