Tbilisi, DFWatch – Commissioner Cecilia Malmström will visit Georgia and bring action plan for visa liberalization issues on February 24.

Maia Panjikidze, Foreign Affair Minister on Tuesday met with the National Movement members in parliament and said that European Commissioner for Home Affairs will visit Georgia on February 24.

She said that visit of Cecilia Malmström was postponed several times, but due to independent reasons from Georgia. It was related to internal issues of EU.

Georgia currently holds negotiations with EU on several issues, which include Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and visa liberalization rules, which Georgia hopes to end before upcoming Vilnius Summit of Eastern Partnership of November 28-29.
