uefa_super_cupTBILISI, DFWatch–The website responsible for selling tickets to the August 11 UEFA Super Cup between FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC has been given 48 hours to solve its technical problems.

Zviad Sichinava, President of the Georgian Football Federation, told journalists that the tickets won’t be available for two more days. But in the evening of June 25, the federation will switch to ‘plan B’, after consultations with UEFA, if the problems haven’t been solved.

An American company proposed by UEFA will assist biletebi.ge in solving the technical difficulties.

Earlier the same day, Sichinava said that the option to sell tickets offline is the very last option they plan to consider.

Tickets for the match should have been available early morning June 22, but due to the great number of people trying to purchase tickets the servers of the website crashed and the problems still haven’t been solved.
